Introduction
Recreation is a fun activity, with leisure defined as time spent on one’s own terms. Human genetics and psychology are inextricably linked to the “need to do things for fun.” Recreational activities are often undertaken for the purpose of entertainment, leisure, or gratification, and are regarded as “enjoyment.”
We spend time in everyday tasks such as work, sleep, societal values, and leisure, the last of which is free of previous responsibilities to physiologic or social needs, and is a requirement of recreation. Although some contend that time pressure has risen for urban people as a result of increased longevity and reduced hours spent for physical and economic survival, some claim that leisure has increased as a result of decreased hours spent for physical and economic survival.
Outdoor and Indoor
There are two types of recreational activities Outdoor and Indoor .Outdoor recreation is most often done in natural environments. Fishing, hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding are all sports that are highly dependent on the area in which they are performed. Although all of these events can be categorized as athletics, not all of them require athletes to participate. Person or competitive activities grouped into competing teams in search of a cup or title are usually less stressful. It is often referred to as “adventure fun” or “adventure exercise” rather than an extreme sport when the practice requires extreme excitement, physical difficulty, or danger. Hiking, camping, mountaineering, swimming, canoeing, caving, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, sailing, skiing, sky diving, and surfing are all common outdoor leisure sports. Coasteering, canyoning, fastpacking, and plogging are examples of modern pursuits that have developed their own personalities as hybrids of previous ones.
Indoor games were created to keep people entertained when they were confined to their houses. They were created to help people pass the time at home when the weather was poor or when they were stuck to their beds due to illness. Indoor games have allowed mothers to keep an eye on their children while doing household chores. Indoor games can be divided into three categories, as follows Games that require physical activity, such as card games and board games. Card games, such as trump and trick, are played with a pack of 52 cards. Indoor games includes games that include physical exercise. Indoor games such as badminton, table tennis, and basketball are common around the world.Basketball was created as an active sport to be played indoors in the winter. Badminton is considered as the most tiring sport and table tennis calls for a lot of deftness, skill, and speed on the part of its players. Indoor games allow one to play when one cannot venture outdoors. Indoor games mean you can stay at home and still play. Although they cannot substitute for outdoor games, indoor games. Although they cannot substitute for outdoor games, indoor games are capable of providing resourceful entertainment in closed environments.
Why is recreational is very important in our life?
Recreational activities add value to our lives in a variety of ways. Imagine all of your favourite pastimes and how they improve your quality of life. Consider that you like them and what it would be like without them. Recall all of the good times and memories that resulted as a result of it. We underestimate how much time and preparation went into learning skills in order to really appreciate these activities, but in retrospect, the time and effort is well worth it.
My Experience
Since there’s no covid case in our town we can travel now go outside and can now travel. On the 1st week of December, I spend more and more doing recreational these days such as playing football, jogging and Zumba, because of recreational activities I have fun and get to interact with other people and besides it can improve your physical health. Usually, I like the outdoor recreational activity because of the scenery and be one of mother nature, at first when I first engaged in recreational activities I was so tired at the time but in the end, it was fun and worth it. We even travel with my friends or my family occasionally mostly on weekends. I love to travel places because I got to explore some other places and watching the beautiful scenery.
My daily Planner
My planner is one of those simple out there I usually wake up at 10.00 am and after that, I take a bath and I cook for my lunch, at 1.00 pm I take a nap usually it takes 1-2 hours long by 4.00 pm I engage some recreational activities after I’m done with my recreational activities I go to hone and eat some dinner and after I’m done with my dinner I play some mobile games or watch Netflix and chills. On weekdays I wake up early in the morning and take a bath and wait for my class which is 8:00 am and after I’m done with my class I eat lunch and after that, I’m gonna take a nap around 1:00 pm and after I take a nap I eat a snack around 3:00 pm and after I’m did eating a snack I go to the plaza and engage some recreational activities mostly football after I’m done with my recreational activities I eat dinner and after I eat dinner I’m gonna watch Netflix and chills around 11:30 I go to sleep because I have class tomorrow. We even travel with my friends or my family occasionally mostly on weekends. I love to travel places because I got to explore some other places and watching beautiful scenery and that is my daily lifestyle.
